Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Sugnu village on Saturday under Operation Sadbhavna to provide healthcare services to local residents.
The camp offered health checkups, consultations, and free medicines to 152 individuals, including women, and children.
Patients requiring further treatment were referred to appropriate healthcare facilities, PRO IGAR (S) said in a release.
Assam Rifles also distributed study materials and essential supplies to Preach Heritage Orphanage, Chakpikarong in Chandel district, benefitting around 60 students.
According to the PRO, the relief team worked diligently to facilitate a fair and efficient distribution process while also providing emotional support to the children.
