Imphal, February 22 2025:
Expressing concern over the disturbances caused by some parents, teachers and individuals to the ongoing HSLCE 2025, Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) secretary S Jitelal has appealed to all concerned for cooperation in ensuring the examination is conducted smoothly.
Addressing a press conference at the BSEM office here on Saturday, Jitelal said that the board is taking up several measures to make the examination free and fair, as well as to ensure its smooth conduct.
"It was unfortunate that some unwanted incidents happened in at least three examination centres at Uchiwa High School, Irong High Madrassa, and Evergreen Flower School, Thoubal Ningombam," he related.
Following the incidents, BSEM officials visited the centres and assessed the situation, during which it was found that the disruptions were caused by some parents, teachers and individuals from outside the examination centres.
Accordingly, BSEM requested the authorities to take action against the persons responsible, he said and urged all concerned to cooperate with the board for ensuring smooth conduct of the examinations.
He also encouraged students to follow the guidelines printed on their admit cards.
