MSPDCL opens recharge vending counters

Imphal, November 21 2024: Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has informed that all MSPDCL vending counter/station have been made fully operational and advised consumers to apply for pre-paid recharge at their respective vending counter/station.

In a release, MSPDCL managing director H Shantikumar Singh stated that post-paid consumers can make payment of their outstanding dues in their respective MSPDCL office.

The power company also requested to all consumers of MSPDCL including government departments with outstanding dues to cleat the same and not to indulge in power theft/bypassing/hooking or any illegal consumption of electrical energy including unauthorised power connection.

Extensive raid and disconnection exercise will be carried across the state and consumer having outstanding dues will be disconnected as per the Indian Electricity Act, 2003 .

Further, any consumer found guilty of illegal consumption of electrical energy will be imprisoned or imposed fine under the same Act, it cautioned.
