CRPF pays tribute to martyred soldiers

CRPF Group Centre, Langjing on Monday observed the Police Commemoration Day to honour the sacrifice of 10 personnel of the 3rd battalion who lost their lives in an ambush laid by heavily armed Chinese troops at Hot spring, Ladakh while on duty along the Indo-China border.
According to a release, as part of the commemoration, M&N Sector IGP Dr Vipul Kumar, CRPF GC DIG Anil Kumar Bhardwaj, all officers, personnel and family members of the martyrs took part in a wreath laying ceremony.
During the programme, Dr Vipul Kumar delivered a brief speech about the significance of the day and also felicitated family members of the martyrs, while Anil Bhardwaj read out the names of martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty during the last one year.
"On this solemn occasion of Police Commemoration Day, CRPF reaffirms unwavering commitment to the safety and security of the nation, while honouring the supreme sacrifices made by our brave soldiers in the line of duty," conveyed the release.
