Imphal, August 18 2024: Minuthong Hatta Golapati Athletic Union and United Drive against Anti-Social and Illegal Migrants jointly organised a tree plantation drive at Hatta Mana Ingkhol under the theme 'If you cut a tree, you kill a life.

If you save a tree you save a life.

If you plant a tree, you plant a life", on Sunday.

Organising secretary Md Abdul Jawad informed that the drive is being carried out under the supervision of Imphal Forest Division and will be held for three days along the river banks from Minuthong till Sanjenthong.

Meanwhile, Punna Hingminnaba Marup, Waiton continued its weekly tree plantation drive at along the Waiton-Pangei road on Sunday.

The drive was participated by Ruhinikumar Thoudam, producer-director of Nokphade; comic artistes Keisham Kuber and Kanta Yambem; singers Thongam Luxmi and Analisha Lourembam; Wahengbam Janmenjoy Meetei, principal of Gem Public School, Pourabi; NK Bedamani All India Radio RNU imphal desk editor; and members of Punna Hingminnaba Marup.
