COCOMI forms Jiribam unit, women wing

Imphal, August 14 2024: With an objective to safeguard territory and integrity of Jiribam and promote peace in the area, Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) formed its Jiribam district committee and Women Wing.

A release issued by COCOMI informed that a meeting chaired by its coordinator Somorendro Thokchom was held at Jiribam Kalinagar (Lairembi) on August 12 with the participation of locals and resolved to form the district committee and the Women Wing.

Mutum Biken has been appointed as convenor of the district committee and Senjam Sainikumar, O Priyokumar, Th Rojen and Doren as co-convenors.

On the other hand, Huirem Bindarani, Atom Ah-anbi, Lairikyengbam Ramani, Haobam Thoibi and Thangjam Jeni have been appointed as co-convenors of the women wing, it added.
