Vision for drug-free India campaign held

Imphal, August 11 2024:
NAB of Manipur Police organised "Vision for drug free India Campaign" in different parts of the state.
According to a statement of Manipur Police Control Room issued Saturday, as part of the campaign, a day-long awareness programme on drugs was held at the New Era Higher Secondary School, Thoubal on August 9 wherein over 700 students and teachers participated.
On the same day, poster campaigns against drugs were held at Lamlong bazar, Khurai Thangjam Leikai, Porompat Pangal Leirak, and in Wangkhei Ayangpali area.
The poster campaign was also held at Singjamei Chingamakha, Heirangoithong bazar, Manipur College and Ningthemcha Karong on August 7 while an awareness programme against drugs was also conducted at Korou Foundation Rehabilitation Centre, Langol.
Poster campaigns against drugs was also held on August 6 at Keishampat Junction, Wahengbam Leikai, Tamenglong Sumo Parking and Naoremthong; on August 5 at Khongang Ani Karak, ISBT Khuman Lampak, Hatta, Lamlong Keithel and NRL pump Telipati; while the campaign was held at Paona Bazar, Ima Keithel and North AOC on August 3 .
