Two named for SAYOL State Excellence Award

Imphal, April 11 2025: SAYOL Foundation announced that the SAYOL State Excellence Award 2025 will be presented to Laining Solution founder Yumkhaibam Ibomcha Meetei and Asatullah Tampakmayum alias 'Eshing Maiba' .

In a release, Foundation secretary Irom Premchand informed that Yumkhaibam Ibomcha of Top Khongnangkhong, Imphal East will be honoured with the award for his excellence in entrepreneurship, promoting indigenous products and creating employment opportunities for youth, thereby boosting local innovation and economic growth.

Additionally, the award for humanitarian service will be presented to Asatullah alias 'Eshing Maiba' of Urup Awang Leikai for his remarkable efforts in recovering bodies of 470 drowned victims till date.

His selflessness and compassion serve as an enduring source of inspiration for others, the secretary maintained, adding that the awards consist of cash prize, memento, certificate and stole.

The awards distribution ceremony will be held during the 8th foundation day of SAYOL Foundation on April 27 at Manipur University Department of Earth Science senate hall.

As a part of the celebratory, the Foundation will also organise its 20th blood donation camp at JNIMS on April 21 .
