HGT campaign kicks off at Kakching

Kakching, August 09 2025: Under the Kakching district administration, Social Welfare Department Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) Cell, Kakching organised Tiranga Rangoli and Tiranga Rakhi competition at various Aganwadi Centres located in Kakching Wairi Kamala Pareng and Hiyanglam areas.

The competition was held as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga (HGT)' campaign in connection with the upcoming 79th Independence Day celebration.

The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.

HGT campaign was launched in 2022 under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

The objective of this campaign is to encourage citizens to hoist the National Flag at their homes, also to build a personal and emotional connection with the Tiranga.
