Project proposals called for PM VIKAS scheme

Imphal, July 09 2025: The Directorate of Minority Affairs has announced the timeline for submission of project proposals under the PM VIKAS scheme, following a communication from the Ministry of Minority Affairs on the said matter on July 2 .

As per a notification issued by joint director (minority affairs) Md Salaudin Khan, interested PIAs shall submit their proposals to the Director, Minority Affairs, Manipur, by July 15, 2025, following which the state government will forward the proposals to the Ministry of Minority Affairs by July 20 .

The notification also mentioned that the proposals must be routed through the department or deputy commissioner concerned of the proposed project component and jurisdiction.

It maintained that the guidelines and the prescribed template for submission of proposal under the scheme may be confirmed from the official websites www.manipurminority.gov.in and www.pmvikasminorityaffairs.gov.in .

The notification further advised the applicants to contact officials of the Directorate of Minority Affairs namely Md Salaudin Khan, or field inspector WRanjeeta Devi, during office hours for relevant details.
