Imphal, October 06 2024: A stakeholders' consultative meeting on "Wildlife and Biodiversity Conservation" was organised by Joint Coordination Committee on Wildlife & Biodiversity (JCCWB), Manipur at the Lamphel Sanakeithel Supermarket conference hall, here, on Sunday.

Held under the theme "Save Wildlife, Conserve Our Biodiversity", the consultative meeting was presided over by ornithologist and retired Kumbi College principal Kumam Kunjeshor.

The participants include Pambei-led UNLF/MPA department of finance's accountant N Cheising, Manipur University Department of Forestry faculty member Dr Kh Romesh, Save Environment Campaign Committee chairman M Manaobi, and stakeholders including UWLBC, Sekmaijin former president E Romesh, Wildlife Explorers Manipur president Khumanthem Barish and LTWA, Lamding president S Ojit Singh.

Around 100 members of wildlife conservation-centric organisations also participated in the event.
