'Miyamgi Numit' to resume on Jan 4

Thoubal deputy commissioner (DC) Ahanthem Subash has announced that the "Miyamgi Numit" initiative, launched by the state government to address public grievances on a monthly basis but kept on hold for some time, will resume in the district from January 4.Addressing the media persons at his office, here, on Tuesday,.
DC Subash assured that public grievances received at the January 4 session will be addressed, and efforts made to resolve outstanding issues on the spot.
The "Miyamgi Numit" will take place at the Election Counting Hall in the Thoubal DC complex, where representatives from all government departments will be available to address the public's concerns.
In this regard, he urged the public to bring their issues to the event so that appropriate actions could be taken to resolve them.
While urging local representatives to inform their communities about the initiative and ensure the success of Miyamgi Numit", he recalled that during the previous event, over 1000 public grievances were addressed and resolved on the spot.
