MKS cheers as Rev Dr Roy George earns PhD

Senapati, August 29 2024: Maralui Karalimei Swijoikang (Maram Students' Union) extended heartfelt congratulations to Rev Fr Dr Roy George SDB on earning his PhD from Assam Don Bosco University, Guwahati.

His dissertation, titled "Cultural Transition Among the Maram Nagas of Manipur (A Study from 1972-2022)" has been recognised as a significant scholarly work that deeply resonates with the Maram community of Senapati district.

In a congratulatory message Thursday, the Maram students' body expressed their admiration for Dr Roy George's dedication in studying the cultural evolution of the Maram Nagas over the past 50 years.

They also highlighted that his research has significantly enriched academic discourse and shall serve as a vital resource for understanding and preserving the cultural heritage of the community.

The students' body also expressed pride in Dr Roy George's accomplishments and extended best wishes for continued success in all his future endeavours.
