Traffic Police notifies road restrictions for Irawat Day

Imphal, September 28 2024: The Traffic Control Police Wing (TCPW) has notified that in connection with the preparation and observation of State Level Irawat Day on September 30 at Irawat Square, Lilasing Khongnangkhong, one side of the road i.e., the southern side of the road meridian starting from Manipur Assembly Gate No 1 to Lilasing Khongnangkhong crossing and the eastern side of the road meridian starting from Lilasing Khongnangkhong to Watham Leirak crossing shall be closed, whereas the northern and western side of the said stretch of foad will be used as Two Way Road' from 8 am on Sunday till the end of the programme.

In a notification, TCPW SP Pramesh Arambam informed that the vehicles going towards Lilasing Khongnangkhong from Khongnang Ani Karak side will be restricted/diverted during the function hour/s subject to traffic congestion in public interest.
