MSPDCL urges to avail PM-SGMBY scheme

Imphal, July 26 2024: Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL) has urged the public to avail the PM-Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana (SGMBY) .

The notification from MSPDCL mentioned that the PM-SGMBY was launched as a flagship scheme by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to increase solar rooftop capacity and empower and encourage every household to generate own power supply.

MSPDCL will be the implementing agency of this flagship programme.

As per the notification issued by the MSPDCL managing director H Shantikumar Singh, consumers can apply to avail this facility from its online portal "https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in" .

The department further appealed to those willing vendors to apply through the national portal's link (https://pmsuryaghar.gov.in) by depositing a sum of Rs 2.5 lakh as Performance Bank Guarantee (PBG) .
