Parents demand fresh SS exam

Imphal, February 26 2025: Parents and guardians of some students appearing the HSLC examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM), have appealed the board to conduct a fresh examination for social science subject, claiming that question paper for.

the subject was leaked 30 minutes prior to the exam on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, parents and guardians gathered at Keishamthong Elangbam Leikai in Imphal and convened an emergency meeting during which, some parents expressed that leakage of the social science question paper disheartened students who had toiled for the exam.

They argued that students who received the leaked paper would have a much higher chance of scoring better marks than their peers.

They cautioned that if such illegal activities continue, there would be no meaning of conducting the exam, and demanded immediate attention of officials of the board and education department on the matter.
