Thoubal/Bishnupur, June 22 2025: The 7th Akoijam Bhubon Family Ningshing Mana (ABFANIM), presented to students, who reside in areas under Thoubal Municipal Council (TMC) and secure tops marks in class X examinations, was distributed at Sai Mandir, Thoubal Wangmataba on Sunday.

All six awards for this year were bagged by students of Evergreen Flower School, Thoubal Ningombam.

The Ak Bhubon memorial award comprising certificate and cash prize of Rs 7000 was presented to S Bhudhimati Mangang; Ak (o) Ibecha award (certificate & Rs 6000) to Okram Goldson; Ak Lilabati award (certificate & Rs 5000) to Ph Golson Sharma; Ak Biren award (certificate & Rs 5000) to Ningombam Jaleswor; Ak (o) Binodini award (certificate & Rs 5000) to Lanchenba Nongthombam; and Ak (o) Manglembi memorial award (certificate & Rs 5000) to Chingtham Jolly Devi.

The programme was attended by retired CMO Dr Ksh Mariglem as chief guest, Zone-Ill Thoubal retired ZEO Ak Norendra as president and Manipur University retired librarian Dr Th Khomdon as guest of honour.

On the other hand, a felicitation programme was organised by Joint Committee for Felicitation of Distinct Personalities, Nachou for achievers of the Nachou village at Nachou Maning Leikai community hall on Sunday.

During the event, HSLC Exam-2022 first position holder Rahul Laishram, Luckyson Laishram who cleared NEET (UG) 2020, BSc Nursing Examination 2021 second position holder Regina Nongmaithem, BA (Honours) 2021 Laishram Raju Singh, JHOOM India 2020 Tabala 1st position holder Nongmaithem Prakash Singh, meritorious students who cleared exams conducted by BSEM, COHSEM and CBSE in 2025, gold medallists in national and international sports tournaments were felicitated with simple gifts and certificates.

Similarly, the prize distribution ceremony of the 18th Oja Ibohal Meritorious Award, presented to meritorious students of Toubul village by Thoudam Oja Ibohal Memorial Trust, was held at Ibudhou Sorarel community hall on Sunday.

At the event, five students who scored high marks in the HSLC examination 202� and three who secured top marks in HSE 2025 were presented with certificate and cash prizes.
