33 Sub-Inspectors promoted to inspector

Imphal, December 21 2024: A total of 33 sub-inspectors of Manipur police have been promoted to inspector rank, as per an order issued by the state joint secretary (home) .

The order stated that in accordance with the recommendation of the Class I Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) following a meeting on 19 December, 33 sub-inspectors of police (male/civil) have been promoted to inspector of police (male/civil) .

It further stated that as per the anticipated vacancy recommended by Class I DPC, six of the SIs was promoted to inspector of police.

Among this, two will be promoted to inspector rank on 1 January next year, while the remaining four will be promoted on February 1 .

The promoted officers will remain under probation for two years at their current place of posting .
