Imphal, July 20 2025: A 1-day academic discourse on "Demographic Imbalance in Manipur: Its Impact and Solution" was conducted yesterday at the lecture hall of Statistics Department, Manipur University, Canchipur.

The programme was organised by International Peace & Social Advancement (IPSA) in collaboration with Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA).

It was attended by Prof K Jugindro Singh, retired Acting Vice Chancellor, Manipur University; Dr M Manimohon Meetei, retired Research Officer, MHA, Government of India; RK Nimai, retired IAS officer; I Lalitkumar, Senior Advocate, High Court of Manipur; Prof RK Narendra Singh, retired Head of Department, Biostatistics Unit, RIMS; Asem Muhindro, Advocate, High Court of Manipur; O Biren Singh, retired Director, Eco & Statistics, Government of Manipur and L Muhindro as resource persons.

The academic discourse was moderated by Prof N Joykumar, historian and Vice Chancellor, Khongnangthaba University.
