Imphal, June 17 2025: A medical team on Sunday extended life-saving aid to a man who had suffered grievous injuries in a bike accident.

As per a release, Thoreingam (29) of Changa village, Kamjong district met with an accident near his village when his bike slipped, resulting in serious facial trauma.

He reportedly sustained multiple wounds on the face; including severe injuries to the nose, lips, and tongue.

He was rushed to a hospital at Shangshak by local villagers in critical condition.

The medical team immediately stabilised the patient, controlled the bleeding, and provided emergency treatment to manage the injuries and prevent shock.

The timely intervention proved vital in saving the individual's life, it said.
