Takyel GP holds 'Tiranga' campaign

Imphal, August 16 2025: In celebration of India's 79th Independence Day, Takyel Gram Panchayat organised a cleanliness drive alongside 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign on Thursday.

The drive led by Takyel Gram Panchayat Administrative Committee chairperson Khaidem Prijobala Devi at Takyel Kolom Leikai, was followed by cleanliness activities under the theme: Har Ghar Tiranga Har Ghar Swachhta, Swatantrataka Utsav, Swachhtake Shang".

Similar cleanliness initiatives were also carried out in different wards of the Gram Panchayat.

Approximately 400 residents of Takyel Kolom Leikai participated in the drive and later joined a rally taken out as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign.
