Bangladesh Manipuri writer AK Seram's book released

Imphal, April 16 2023:
A short story book titled 'Numidangwairamgee Chigonglei' penned by AK Seram from Bangladesh was released during a function organised by Ashangba Communication at Dr Kamal Literary Complex, Langthabal Kunja Mayai Leikai on Sunday.
The book release ceremony was attended by Manipur Language advisory board, Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi Prof Rajen Toijamba as chief guest and Manipur Sahitya Parishad, Imphal president Longjam Joychandra and Naharol Sahitya Premi Samiti, Imphal president Naoroibam Indramani as guests of honour while The Cultural Forum Manipur president Prof Huirem Bihari presided over the event.
Theatre director Loitongbam Dorendra and Artiste Naorem Rajendro read out two of the ten short stories, while writers Chongtham Suvadani Devi and Rita Thokchom recited poems written by AK Seram at the event.
It may be mentioned here that AK Seram is a Manipuri poet and short story writer from Bangladesh and has been working for promotion of Manipuri literature.
