Tengnoupal, September 15 2021: commemorating 75 years of India's independence, Tengnoupal district deputy commissioner Naorem Prayeen Siagh launched 'Swachhata Hi Seva, 2021' on Wednesday from the district headquarters.

The launch event was organised by PHED Tengnoupal and was attended by executive engineer Th Sarat Singh and other officials.

Centre for Women and Girls, which is the implementing support agency under Jal Jeevan Mission for the district, also participated in the event alongside other youth from local communities.

The programme will include cleaning of public places, plastic waste collection, door-to-door waste collection, and construction of compost and soak pits.
