Graduate teacher aspirants seek result of test exam

Imphal, September 14 2021: Graduate Teachers Appearing Candidates-2021 have urged authority concerned to declare result of the written examination conducted on August 14 by Department of Education (S) for recruitment of graduate teachers at the earliest.

In a joint release, Jiribam, Thoubal, Kakching, Kangpokpi, Bishnupur, Tamenglong and Noney district conveners of the candidates' association stressed the need to declare the result with transparency by publishing the marks of the candidates in local print and electronic media.

They also appealed to permit re-checking of the marked secured if, the candidates are not satisfied the same.

Pointing out that the notification clearly mentioned about district specific and non-transferable, the conveners also proposed for giving preference to local candidates applying from various districts and also to declare the district-wise merit list.

The present government should instruct authorities concerned to declare the result with full transparency prior to enforcement of election code of conduct, they said, while highlighting the need to disprove the notion that one could not get a job without corruption and verifying the presence of anti-corruption cell.

The conveners further cautioned of launching intense form of agitations if authorities concerned fail to declare the result at the earliest.
