Imphal, February 09 2025: As part of its continued efforts to support local communities, the Indian Army organised a free dental cum medical camp, and an awareness programme at Siden in Churachandpur.

The initiative provided essential medical assistance to approximately 127 residents of all age groups.

A team of Army medical officers and nursing staff, in collaboration with the District Hospital, Churachandpur, conducted comprehensive health check-ups, consultations, and treatments while a specialised dental team under Dr T Thinunglal Haokip of the District Hospital provided free dental checkups and guidance on oral hygiene.

To ensure continued care, a free medicine distribution counter was also set up, offering essential medications to patients' post-consultation.

Additionally, a medical awareness session was conducted to educate locals on dental hygiene, common health issues and preventive measures.
