Skin diseases detected in 96 flood victims

Imphal, June 03 2025:
A bulletin issued by Health and Medical Response to Flood Situation of the Health Department confirmed detection of at least 96 individuals with skin diseases caused due to the present flooding.
According to a statement of state health department, a total of 16 Rapid Response Teams were deployed to assess health conditions of flood-affected people staying in relief camps opened in Imphal East, Imphal West and Senapati districts.
The teams conducted medical check-up of the flood victims and also distributed necessary medicines and other materials.
During the medical check-up conducted at six relief camps in Imphal East, four in Imphal West and one in Senapati district, a total of 96 people were found suffering from skin diseases caused due to flood.
