'Celebrating Success' second edition held in Chandel

Chandel, June 01 2024: The second edition of 'Celebrating Success' an event to recognise and celebrate the local success story was held at Chandel Town Hall, on Friday.

Among the distinguished attendees included UPSC CSE 2023 921st position holder S Christopher Aimol and his mother S Thiamneining, who graced the occasion as special guest.

The event drew a crowd of approximately 420 students from various esteemed institutions including St Peters HS School, Anallon Christian Institute, Oriental Academy, Koinonia Training Institute, Oak Hill Christian Academy and JNV Chandel, accompanied by their teachers.

Club Executive Rimtha Huten conducted the interview wherein S Christopher shared his journey, highlighting the challenges he faced and the eventual triumph he achieved.

In his welcome speech, club president Ts Mhanthung Anal extended heartfelt congratulations to Christopher and urged the students to draw inspiration from his story, motivating them to pursue their dreams relentlessly.

Delivering the vote of thanks, joint secretary K Warthangam Monsang thanked the principals of the participating schools for their unwavering support towards the club and its endeavours.
