Poknapham's columnist selected for fellowship

Imphal, September 28 2024: Poknapham daily's columnist Dr Chongtham Narendra has been selected for RK Maipaksana Journalist Fellowship 2024, sponsored by the RK Maipaksana Memorial Trust.

In a release, Trust managing trustee Dr Thokchom Ibotombi Singh informed that the decision to select Chongtham Narendra for the Fellowship was made after through discussion by a team of jury.

Informing that the selected fellow will have to file two stories each month based on seven categories offered under the fellowship programme, for which a sum of Rs 3000 shall be awarded for a period of one year, the managing trustee said that the award will be handed over to Narendra during the 100th death anniversary of RK Maipaksana scheduled to be celebrated on October 11 at JN Dance Academy auditorium.
