Lioness Club distributes edible items to IDPs'

Imphal, July 26 2025: In connection with 4th Foundation Day celebration of All India Lioness Club, edible items were distributed to displaced persons currently taking shelter at Veterinary Complex, Porompat on Saturday.

After distributing the edible items, former president of All India Lioness Club Dr Komolini Devi said people displaced from Moreh due to the violence since May 3, 2023 are taking shelter at Veterinary complex, Porompat relief camp.

She said that items were distributed to displaced persons to ease their suffering at least to certain extent.

She also appealed to the present President's Rule administration to resolve the crisis and allow displaced persons to return to their respective homes at the earliest.
