Kakching, February 25 2025: Chandel deputy commissioner L Nandakumar on Monday distributed awards to Students of United College, Lambung in ChandeL district, who scored highest marks in the science and arts streams in the annual exams.

The programme organised by college's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was attended by DC Nandakumar as chief guest and ADC/ADM Md Firoz Khan as guest of honour.

The Late Y Sabitri Devi Meritorious Award for science was awarded to Vavarcha Ruwngtol (BSc Zoology Honours 6th Semester) and Late Huten Lenjoy Meritorious Award presented to Mayanglambam Seityavama Devi (BA History Honours 6th Semester) and Pekhamhring Tongsin (BA History Honours 6th Semester) .

Certificates of appreciation were also handed out to teaching and non-teaching staff of the college for their excellent service.

The event was also attended by UC principal Dr Bd Thumdal, IQAC co-ordinator Dr Md Mustaque Ahmed, vice-principal Kanthung Ru-wndar, HODs, teachers and students.
