Imphal, September 23 2024: A two-day Naga People's Front, Manipur State Unit (NPF-MSU) Youth Conclave, 2024 commenced from Monday at Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS) Mantripukhri.

The inaugural function was attended by Water Resources and Relief & Disaster Management minister and NPF Manipur president Awangbow Newmai, Phungyar MLA Leishiyo Keishing, Modern College, Imphal Political Science HOD associate professor Dr Ringkahao Horam, NPF-MSU advisory board member Solomon Venuo, working president Paul Muinao, and leaders from divisional units including Ukhrul, Senapati, Chandel and Tamenglong as well as delegates of the divisions.

Addressing the gathering, minister Awangbow Newmai highlighted the history of Naga, role of NPF since its inception as a political party and the youth, as associate professor Dr Ringkahao elaborated on role of political parties in Indian politics and Samuel Risom spoke on essence of NPF as a regional political party.
