SDSA issues guidelines for students

Ahead of the final examinations for the academic year, Senapati District Students' Association (SDSA) issued specific guidelines for strict compliance by students in the district.
The guidelines include abstention from consuming liquor in school uniforms, prohibition on sale of intoxicants to minors and restriction on jogging/walking before 5 am and after 7 pm.
As per a directive issued by SDSA, the norms have been announced as part of its efforts tp maintain a safe, healthy and focused learning environment with the fast approaching of annual examinations.
Appealing to the public and parents/guardians to support and reinforce the policy being initiated for the sake of students of the district, the SDSA also appealed to liquor vendors not to sell, supply or distribute liquor to persons under the age of 25 years (in pursuant with the Manipur Gazette no.8/17/2023-e-FD on the creation of Manipur State Beverages Corporation Limited (MSBCL) and warned of taking disciplinary action any defaulter.
