Free health camp held

Urban Primary Health Centre (UPHC) Iroishemba organised a one-day free health camp as part of special outreach health camp at Uripok Huidrom Leikai Development Committee's community hall on Saturday.
The camp provided medical consultations and distributed medicines to the attendees.
Community health officer Neenibem Saikhom encouraged the public to utilise such health camps, emphasising their importance in the early detection of diseases and disorders such as hypertension, diabetes, cancer, and breast cancer.
Imphal Municipal Corporation ward no 6 corporator Tourangbam Indrajit highlighted the significance of the health camp, noting that Uripok ward no 6 was one of the most affected areas by dengue recently.
He welcomed the initiative, stating that such camps could greatly benefit the community in tackling health issues.
The health camp saw a good turnout.
