Unit hospital of CRPF inaugurated

Imphal, January 19 2025: A 10-bedded unit hospital at the 8th battalion of CRPF, located at the DC Complex Mini Secretariat in Bishnupur district, was inaugurated by battalion commandant Chandrashekhar on Sunday.

The ceremony was attended by battalion's officers, officials from the DC office, and local dignitaries.

Equipped with modern facilities, the hospital aims to provide essential healthcare services not only to personnel of the 8th battalion CRPF but also to the civil population of Bishnupur and its surrounding areas.

Addressing the gathering, Chandrashekhar highlighted the significance of accessible healthcare in ensuring the overall well-being of both the troopers and the local community.

He reaffirmed CRPF's commitment to contribute to the welfare of the region, extending beyond its primary mandate of maintaining security.
