State lad tops B Tech exam in Punjab

Thoubal, March 17 2022: Khundrakpam Amarjit Singh of Manipur has topped the B Tech (civil engineering) examination of IK Gujaral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar (formerly Punjab Technical University) conducted in November, 2021 .

Amarjit topped the examination for North East India the result of which was declared on March 8.Amarjit is son of Kh Tomba and Usharani of Heir ok Part I .

Tomba is currently working as a teacher at Heirok High School while Usharani is ASHA supervisor at CHC Heirok.

Amarjit scored A+ grade in three out of six subjects, A grade in two subjects and B+ grade in one.

Earlier, Amarjit was awarded 'Nam Ram Golamjit Singh Memorial Cash Award' for topping in all trades in the first year examination (civil engineering), 2016-17 of Engineering College, Government Polytechnic, Imphal.
