Imphal, March 13 2025: Assam Rifles organised a special felicitation ceremony for seven candidates from Ukhrul and Kamjong districts who successfully cleared the Territorial Army recruitment examination.

According to PRO IGAR (S), the young individuals were recognised for their dedication, perseverance, and commitment in joining the Indian Army and serving the nation in presence of their parents.

The event was not just a celebration of their achievement but also a moment of immense pride for their families and the entire community, showcasing the potential of youth from these remote regions in contributing to national security, said the PRO, adding that Assam Rifles played a crucial role in supporting these candidates throughout their journey, providing guidance and mentorship during the pre-recruitment training at Shangshak.
