Imphal, April 11 2025: District Veterinary Office, Tamenglong and Mobile Veterinary Unit (MVU) conducted mass anti-rabies vaccination drive cum awareness programme on rabies at Longmai Bazar Board office on Friday.

The programme was attended by district's joint veterinary director Dr Esau Mao, and officers Dr G Poulinlu, Dr Achun and Dr Dimdim as the resource persons.

More than 55 pets were vaccinated during the programme.

Meanwhile, Langdum Samaj Sudhar Dal Youth Club informed that the club along with Imphal East District Veterinary Office organised anti-rabies vaccination programme at the club during which around 100 cats and dogs were vaccinated.

Similarly, Apunba Naharolgee Shakti informed that it along with Imphal West District Veterinary Office organised anti-rabies vaccination programme at Konjeng Leikai football ground.

During the vaccination programme, 120 dogs and 30 cats were vaccinated.
