Imphal, April 09 2025: Patsoi-Langjing Bazar Board has cautioned that it will close the road from Oriental College till Yurembam along the NH-37 and launch intense agitations if authorities concerned do not repair the road within 48 hours.

In a press meet held at Patsoi Bazar on Wednesday, Board general secretary Ng Noren said that the bad conditions of the road have put the residents and businesses on both flanks of the road at risk.

As such, after talking with the DC of Imphal.

West, the latter assured to repair the road within two days.

However, the work has been stopped for the last five days.

Moreover, the authorities are not spraying water along the road to control the dust, as was agreed upon.

The matter was reported to the DC concerned, yet no action has been taken up till date, he rued, cautioning that intense agitations would be launched in case the authorities concerned do not repair the road within 48 hours.

Any consequences resulting from the same would be the responsibility of the authorities, he added.
