Kakching, June 01 2024: To commemorate the 100th year of Sadgurudev Swami Sivanand, the founder of Divine Life Society, taking Sanyas Dik-sha, the Divya Jivan Seva Sangh, Kakching and the Divine Life Society Manipur State Coordinating Committee jointly organized a State Level Satsanga and Guru Puja at Machin Manao Sevashram in Kakching Chumnang Leikai, on Saturday.

The event which was attended by Swami Gopal Krishna, Divya Jivan Seva Sangh Kakching president Dr Nongmaithem Nabakeshore and Divine Life Society Manipur State Co-ordinating Committee president Dr Y Panchom as presidium members was marked by offering of floral tributes to the photo of Swami Sivanand Maharaj along with observing a 2-minute silent as a mark of respect to all those who have lost their lives in the present humanitarian crisis in Manipur.

During the event, RK Radhamohon, Swami Gopal Krishna and K Brajamani Sharma spoke on the topics "Life of Swami Sivananda", "Significance of Sanyas Diksha" and "Lessons for the students and youths" respectively.
