Skill, placement programme on May 6, 8

Imphal, April 30 2025: Department of Information Technology in association with HCLTech will conduct Skill Development with Placement Programme called "HCL TechBee Manipur" for students who have completed class XII in 2024/2025 .

Selected candidates from Manipur will receive subsidy of Rs 50,000 towards their training fees.

For those needing financial assistance for the remaining amount, loan facility will also be made available.

To be eligible for the programme, students must have secured at least 65 percent marks in Class XII under the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Manipur (COHSEM) or 70 percent under CBSE or ISC boards.

Candidates who have scored 60 percent or more in Mathematics or Business Mathematics will be considered for IT-related roles, while those without Mathematics in their curriculum are eligible for Associate roles in non-IT sectors.

According to a notification issued by DC/Chairman District e-Governance Society (DeGS), Bishnupur, counselling cum examination for recruitment will be conducted on May 6 at IT Centre, DC Office Complex, from 11 am onwards.

Meanwhile, the same programme for students of Thoubal district will be conducted on May 8 from 11 am onwards at AISECT, Thoubal Okram Wangmataba .
