KMC faculty take pledge

Kha Manipur College StaffWelfare Association and Internal Quality Assurance Cell, KMC organised an oath taking ceremony for faculties of the college today.
Retired Justice of Guwahati High Court, Mutum BK Singh administered the oath to faculty members for ensuring the college's growth and progress.
The college faculty members took pledge to work with dedication and take the college to greater heights.
KMC Principal Dr Okram Rudrababu, Joint Director, University and Higher Education Aribam Ramashankar Sharma and former KMC Principal Prof Yumnam Sunitibala attended the programme.
At the ceremony, Higher Education's Joint Director, Aribam Ramashankar Sharma appreciated the Principal of the college for adopting a unique approach of administering oath to faculties for improving the college.
He underscored the significant role of teachers in imparting education to students and urged them to perform their duties with sincerity and dedication.
Principal of the college, Dr Okram Rudrababu, in his address to the gathering, quoted Nelson Mandela and said that education is the most powerful weapon which one can use to change the world.
He appealed to the teachers and students to work towards improving the education system and imparting quality education to all.
College staff who have their wards studying in the college were encouraged and feted at the event.
