Honorary Doctorate Award conferred to N Munal Meitei

Kakching, July 25 2024: World Culture and Environmental Protection Commission has conferred Honorary Doctorate Award to Chandel Forest Division assistant conservator of forests Naorem Munal Meitei of Kakching Mayai Leikai in recognition of his work on environment.

The award was presented in a function held at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi bn Wednesday.

Dr Munal Meitei has so far published 320 articles and papers on environment, forest, wildlife, global climate change and biodiversity in The People's Chronicle, and other dailies.

Meanwhile, Kakching High School 1984 Matric Batch, Lions Club of Kakching Greater and Kakching Runners congratulated N Munal Meitei on receiving the award.
