Imphal, January 25 2025: Shija Hospitals & Research Institute Pvt Ltd observed IV Nurses Day on Saturday, at the Shija Auditorium, celebrating the vital contributions of intravenous (IV) nurses to patient care.

These highly skilled professionals play an essential role in administering life-saving IV therapies, managing infusion lines, monitoring for potential complications, and providing compassionate care.

Their expertise, often behind the scenes, is indispensable to the healing process and the delivery of quality healthcare.

Informing this, a statement issued by PRO, Shija Hospital said that the event was organised under the theme "Your Lifeline, Our Passion" emphasising the critical role IV nurses play in ensuring patient safety and delivering exceptional care.

The programme began with a welcome speech, followed by a presentation chronicling the evolution of infusion therapy and sharing the experiences of the hospital's 44 skilled TV nurses.

To recognise their dedication and excellence, awards were presented in two categories: "Best Practices" and "Best Reporting IV Nurse" .
