BDVFDWA provides monetary aid

Imphal, August 23 2024: Under the aegis of Bishnupur SP Ksh Ravikumar Singh and VDF Welfare Committee chairman Satyam Takhellambam, Bishnupur District VDF Welfare Association (BDVDFWA) on Friday provided assistance of Rs 1.5 lakh from Bishnupur VDF Welfare Fund to the family of VDF member Khundrakpam Hemanta Singh, who passed away on August 11 due to an illness.

In a release, BDVDFWA publicity secretary Naorem Rameshwor Singh informed that the monetary assistance was handed over to the deceased's family by Welfare Committee member inspector Irengbam Ratankumar Singh, BDVDFWA president Oinam Bijoy Singh, general secretary Moirangthem Amuthoi Singh, cashier Ningthoujam Sanjit Singh along with (late) Kh Hemanta's post commander ASI Soibam Deben Singh.

The Association also prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
