Workshop on assessment, rubric, evaluation begins

Bishnupur, July 23 2025: A weeklong workshop on 'Designing Assessments, Rubrics And Outcome Based Evaluation' organised by Thambal Marik College, Oinam Internal Quality Assurance Cell in collaboration with Manipur University College Development Council commenced from Wednesday at Room No 1 of the College.

The workshop participated by faculties of Birmangol College, SK Women's College, NG College, Jiri College and Nambol L Sanoi College will deliberate on question setting, modelling assessments, etc.

As resource persons of the inaugural session, Liberal College, Luwangshangbam principal professor N Sanjoy Singh and DM College of Teacher Education, Imphal associate professor Dr Kh Dineshkumar spoke on 'Learning Outcome Based Framework and Writing Learning Outcomes' and 'Bloom's Revised Taxonomy and Cognitive Levels', respectively.

In his address, programme convener L Saratkumar Singh stated that the workshop is being organised in connection with the implementation of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and equip students to become self-employed after they complete their education.

The inaugural function was held with MU College Development Council director professor Hanjabam Sukhadeba Sharma, professor N Sanjoy, associate professor Dr Kh Dineshkumar, Thambal Marik College principal professor Kh Mohon Singh as presidium members.
