Thanga Local CPI convenes 43rd conference

Bishnupur, April 19 2025: The 43rd conference of Thanga Local CPI was held yesterday at Thanga Moirang Khunou Meira Shanglen.

According to a press release issued by Th Robindro Singh, office secretary, MSC/CPI, the conference was graced by Tongbram Mangi as the functional president; former State secretary Laishram Sotinkumar; former district secretary K Bimol and veteran communist leader S Nillakamal as the guests of honour.

During the meeting, the draft political report and draft organisation report were presented and thoroughly discussed.

Later, M Mangi was appointed as the secretary of Thanga Local CPI; L Bhagirot as assistant secretary and Ch Ibopishak as treasurer for the 2025-26 term.
