MPVA lists documents lost in inferno at chief's house

Imphal, January 17 2025: Monsang Pantha Village Authority (MPVA), Chandel district informed that various important documents were lost in the inferno that reduced the house of Monsang Pantha village chief Ng Wincent/Vincent Monsang (66) to ashes around 10:30 pm on January 10.According to a release by MPVA, documents destroyed in the said fire include official appointment letter of the chief/secretary; land deeds of ADC, Chandel & Monsang Pantha, KVK; Chandel & Monsang Pantha, district amusement/children park and Monsang Pantha; documents related to Monsang Pantha.

and Primary Health Sub-Centre, Monsang Tribal Museum, St Peter's Parish land, Challong village, Lambung village, NSF Monolith and Monsang Pantha Primary School; Monsang Pantha Village recognised Gazette; boundary map (drone picture) of Monsang Pantha village; Roshangkuwng (New Hamlet) and Monsang Pantha; four Wifi battery (big size); two solar plates; agricultural land deals between Challong to Monsang Pantha villages; and settlement of Jhum held disputes between 'Jhummias' arid JJM and Monsang Pantha, among others.
