143 Bn CRPF celebrates I-Day

Imphal, August 16 2024: 143 Bn CRPF celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with great fervour and patriotism on Thursday with commandant Ravinder Sharma unfurling the national flag.

A press note issued by 143 Bn CRPF informed that commandant Ravinder Sharma emphasised the significance of Independence and sacrifices made by our freedom fighters during the celebration.

The commandant also took opportunities to recognise the bravery and excellence of CRPF officers and personnel and read out names of officers and men who have been awarded gallantry and meritorious service medals honouring their selfless service and dedication to duties.

The unit also organised many activities including bike rally, cleanliness drive, tree plantation to promote national unity and community service.
