Textbook on human anatomy, physiology released

Imphal, July 15 2024: Manipur University on Monday released a textbook titled, 'Basic Concepts of Human Anatomy and Physiology' authored by the varsity's Department of Physical Education & Sports Science associate professor Dr Laishram Santosh.

The book was unveiled by MU vice-chancellor Prof N Lokendra in the presence of dean of school of education Prof Premlata Meisanam, and head of the department of physical education and sports science Prof L Thambal.

During the launch event, VC Prof N Lokendra emphasised the textbook's significance not only for students within the state but across the entire country.

He commended Dr Santosh for his dedication and scholarly contribution and wished him the best.

The textbook offers a comprehensive and detailed exploration of human anatomy and physiology, making complex concepts accessible and engaging.

The textbook's comprehensive approach will serve as a vital tool in the education and professional development of those in the physical education and sports science disciplines, expressed the vice chancellor.
