Body denounces repeated bomb attacks

Imphal, August 11 2024: Reacting against bomb attacks carried out at the house of Diabetes Health Care Centre managing director Moirangthem Dhanabir of Kabow Leikai Nongchup, Kabow Leikai Nongchup Women Welfare Association has appealed not to repeat the act in the locality.

Addressing media persons at Manipur Press Club, here, on, Sunday, association secretary Phurailatpam Inaocha Devi stated that Dhanabir's house was also targeted twice in the recent past.

In case Dhanabir is indeed at fault, his wrongdoings, if any, should be made public so that appropriate corrective measures could be initiated, she stressed.

Stating that many students residing in rented quarters in the area could have suffered injuries as the explosion occurred when they were returning from college, the secretary advised the outfit', if any, responsible for the attack not to take recourse to such violent means.

Chipping in, Moirangthem Dhanabir said that attacks against him have been ongoing since 2023.While regretting that request for security has been declined by government authorities, he sought identification of the culprits and take appropriate action to prevent further attacks.
